15 MarDESE announces gap fee waiver extension
The Australian Department of Education, Skills, and Employment has advised that the gap fee waiver provision has been extended nationally from 31 January 2021 until 30 June 2021. Services directed to close by a local authority due to COVID-19 can now waive gap fees until 30 June 2021.
If your service is directed to close by a Commonwealth, state or territory government authority, you must report the closure and any reopening.
You must state the reason for the closure within 24 hours to:
- CCSAssesments@dese.gov.au
- your state or territory regulatory authority, and
- your third-party software provider.
