15 MarEarly ABLES assessment learning tool expansion
The Early ABLES (Early Abilities Based Learning and Education Support) online assessment learning tool has been expanded to include three new assessments:
- Wellbeing – Movement
- Identity and Learning – Thinking Skills
- Learning and Communication – Numeracy.
There are now eight assessments that early childhood educators can use to support the learning of children aged two to five years with disabilities and/or developmental delay.
A free online learning module about Early ABLES is available for early childhood educators. It contributes up to five hours to the Victorian Institute of Teaching’s annual professional learning requirement of 20 hours.
