30 NovELAA Advocacy Strategy
On Thursday 25 November the ELAA Board endorsed the ELAA 2025 Advocacy Strategy. This strategy recognises the strengths of the community sector in providing higher quality ECEC to more vulnerable children in diverse settings, and positions ELAA to respond to challenges including sector sustainability, governance burdens and shifting parental preferences.
The strategy has clear goals for 2025 centred on strengthened sustainability, a well trained, well paid and stable workforce, quality delivery and improved access and equity. These goals will be achieved through action at three levels:
- building ELAA capacity to create solutions
- supporting members with new resources and approaches
- promoting solutions to government.
