06 NovELAA CEO Update 6 November 2020
Dear members and friends
it certainly is a welcome change and encouraging to see seven days in a row of ‘zero’ new cases of COVID-19 in Victoria. Given this recent trend and the steady relaxing of restrictions in Victoria, I hope you, your staff and families are starting to feel more optimistic about 2021. We are at ELAA and we’re looking forward to working with you in the year ahead but urge all providers to keep their COVID-safe plans up-to-date and actively implemented.
We’re looking forward to rounding out this year at our ‘online’ Annual General Meeting on 19 November and we’re really excited to have Think Equal Founder, Leslee Udwin, as our keynote speaker at the AGM. From film maker to human rights and educational activist, Leslee has had an amazing life and I’m sure her story and mission of promoting social and emotional learning in pre-school aged children will be both inspiring and informative to our members. Make sure you don’t miss out so be sure to read more about Leslee and her keynote address ‘The Most Important Subject in the World’ in this week’s eNews.
Regards
David Worland
