08 NovELAA CEO Update 8 November 2019

Posted on 08 Nov 2019

Next Thursday, 14 November, is the ELAA Annual General Meeting. It’s always a great opportunity to catch up with other members and early learning colleagues, compare notes, and enjoy some great nibbles and a drink or two – and we always feature a speaker who provides expert insights into the early learning sector.

With so much change and uncertainty in the early childhood sector on matters such as the continued commonwealth contribution to ’15 hours’; roll-out of three-year-0ld kindergarten in Victoria; portable long service leave; sustainability of EYMs; and more, we are looking forward to hearing from this year’s AGM keynote speaker, Luci Palaghia (Partner, Deloitte Australia), about the emerging challenges and opportunities facing early years providers. Luci will focus on the strategic implications for the future sustainable delivery of high quality early childhood education and care services and anyone concerned about the future of our sector should not miss her speak.

As is tradition, the evening also includes the McArthur Early Childhood Volunteer  of the Year Award which celebrates the contribution and difference that volunteers make to early childhood services and we will announce the winner of this year’s Award.

We’re also giving away $50 Officeworks gift cards and Comics’ Lounge Vouchers as door prizes to lucky attendees. So don’t miss your chance to be in the running to win a great prize.

So come along to next week’s ELAA AGM for a great speaker, champion volunteers, and some cool door prizes

See you there.
