ELAA is currently funded by the Department of Education and Training (DET) to provide governance support services to funded kindergarten providers in Victoria. ELAA also provides other support services through membership and contracts with other organisations e.g. ADP Payline. ELAA is conducting a review of its current service offering across that offered through membership, the DET funded governance support and other contracts. As part of this review, we want to hear about your experience of our services

– do they meet your needs, is there anything we could do better or is there an area that you would like support, resources or training that isn’t currently available?

We know that the support needs of EYMs can be quite different when compared to standalone, sessional service providers. For instance, EYMs currently make up 12% of our advisory support time while standalones comprise 81%. Conversely, our reference groups see more EYM representatives than standalones.

Regardless of your service type, we want to hear from anyone in the early childhood education and care sector that has accessed our resources, participated in training or events, or received support, whether that’s relating to governance, finances, IR, HR, payroll and everything else. No matter your position, we want your perspective on what we do, what your needs are and what else we could do for you.

We will be using the findings from this survey to inform our future service offering and new initiatives as part of our ELAA 2025 Strategy. We want to ensure we get the right mix of services that meet your needs in a complex and everchanging environment!

The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete, and your responses will be completely anonymous. The survey will be open until midday, Friday 30th April.
