02 SepELAA welcomes new ECEC professional education partner – ITHEA
The Institute of Tertiary and Higher Education Australia (ITHEA) is a Registered Training Organisation regulated by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and specialise in the delivery of vocational training in Early Childhood Education and Care including:
- CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education
- CHC50113 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
ITHEA is committed to the provision of high-quality vocational training for the early childhood sector. Our training goal is to provide the best learning experience possible so that every student graduate with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to be successful educators.
Our primary training strategy is to assist students to not only gain essential knowledge as set out in the training package requirements, but to also apply this knowledge to workplace practice. This can be quite a challenge for Early Childhood students given the huge and diverse volume of knowledge that must be acquired. A key learning strategy used by ITHEA is to continuously provide students with examples of how knowledge can be translated into workplace practices. Students are also given many opportunities to apply their knowledge by completing practical workplace tasks.
