24 AugExtended transition period for Early Childhood Education Care qualifications
ELAA has advocated to the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) about the transition and teach out periods for revised Early Childhood Education & Care qualifications, including certificate III and diploma qualifications.
ASQA has agreed to extend the transition period until 20 January 2023. The current 18-month transition period is granted to all registered training organisations (RTOs) delivering the qualifications. In response to the concerns raised by ELAA, ASQA will engage with SkillsIQ to consider the need for a longer period of transition.
