ELAA wishes to congratulate the current Chief Executive of VicRoads, Robyn Seymour, on her appointment as the Head of the newly created Road Safety Victoria.
Road Safety Victoria will merge and centralise the road safety functions of VicRoads and the Victorian Department of Transport and will commence operations from 1 August. The new entity will be dedicated to road safety in Victoria including tackling Victoria’s rising road toll.
Ms Seymour, previously a counsellor for victims of road trauma, has worked in road safety for almost two decades.
The merger of road safety elements from the two bodies will not affect the delivery of the Starting Out Safely Early Childhood Road Safety Education Program by ELAA and we look forward to working with Robyn and her new team at Road Safety Victoria.
