Posted on 11 Jan 2021

Dates: Tuesday 5 January – Saturday 23 January
Time: 11 am to 3 pm
Location: TAC’s Road to Zero Education Complex, Melbourne Museum, Lower Ground Floor
Age group: Booster tag activity (4 – 11 years); Ad making activity (8-13 year olds)

Boost your children’s holiday fun at the TAC’s Road to Zero Education Complex at Melbourne Museum these summer holidays. Road to Zero has free school holiday activities for the whole family – with a special focus on when children can safely move out of booster seats.

Children are safest travelling in a booster seat until they can achieve good seatbelt fit, as determined by the 5-step seatbelt test (usually around 145 cm in height).

As part of the fun activities, children can:
– Measure their height using the ‘if you fit, where do you sit?’ arch
– Complete a colouring in sheet displaying their height in centimetres
– Receive a free booster tag T-shirt (while stocks last)
– Apply their powers of persuasion to making a TV ad about the importance of car safety using Road to Zero’s high-tech touch screens.

An ELAA child restraint expert will be on site to answer parents’ questions every day of the Road to Zero program.
