18 OctHarry Helper Goes to the Beach – FREE Summer Safety Education for 4 to 5-year-olds

Posted on 18 Oct 2019

A new 30 minute FREE Summer Safety incursion for child care centres that focuses on being safe under the sun and around water is being launched nationally  for children aged 4 to 5.

Entitled Harry Helper Goes to the Beach, the mini presentation offers a fun and impactful opportunity to discuss being safe under the sun and around water, with a strong focus on SUPERVISION. In addition to this, Harry’s summer safety strategies, which are told through an age appropriate, interactive rhyming story and song, introduce children to basic, hands-on, first aid training for early learners.

Who is Harry Helper? He’s an adorable pooch who is kind, empathetic, playful, fun-loving and confident and is the relatable conduit to teach children of kindergarten and ELC age to adopt the emotional, mental and physical skills required to help others when in need.

According to the 2019 Royal Life Saving Report, drowning is still the leading cause of preventable death for children 0 to 4 years of age. Harry Helper and his team of educators are committed to doing what they can to turn the tide on this preventable statistic by teaching children sun and water safety strategies leading into the warmer months when Aussies love to swim.

Child Care centres interested in registering for a FREE Harry Helper Goes to The Beach incursion can do so by emailing hello@harryhelper.com For more information on Harry Helper programs for early learning centres, visit www.harryhelper.com

Harry Helper is a social enterprise – with a percentage of every booking donated towards the support of the Aligula Dispensary Health Clinic in Soy, Kenya.
