The Inclusive Kindergartens Facilities Program grants support services to invest in buildings, playgrounds and equipment that are inclusive of all children’s needs. Applications for equipment grants have closed and applications for buildings and playground projects close midnight on Friday 9 August.

Inclusive education is about ensuring that all children, regardless of disabilities or other differences, are able to fully participate, learn, develop and succeed in our schools and kindergartens. Funded projects have ranged from sensory gardens and accessible ramps to modified play equipment and acoustic treatments for classrooms. The program is split into two funding streams:

–one for buildings and playground projects between $15,000 and $200,000

–one for equipment projects from $1,500 to $10,000. (applications now closed).

Applications close at midnight 9 August for buildings and playground projects.
