ELAA is currently seeking a well-credentialed individual to sit on its Board of Management in 2020 and ongoing. We are looking for someone who is currently (or has previously) serving on a sessional kindergarten parent Committee of Management.
The ideal candidate would have a good understanding of the policies, funding and regulatory issues currently shaping sessional kindergarten and also understand ELAA’s role in the early childhood education and care sector. We are looking for someone with extensive professional experience in business, government ,or the not-for-profit sector who shares ELAA’s vision, purpose and values.
In return for the opportunity for to help shape the future of early childhood education and care, the successful candidate would be required to attend at least one Board meeting per month, spanning 1.5 hours between 12pm and 1:30pm on the last Thursday of each month. We are anticipating nominating the successful candidate prior to the ELAA AGM in November when the position will be formally voted on.
