26 AugNew child safety resources for use by children, young people, and adults coming soon
The National Office of Child Safety has engaged the Western Australian Commissioner for Children and Young People to develop resources to assist children and young people to use complaints processes within organisations to raise concerns, seek assistance and report harm.
The resources will be designed for use in all states and territories.
A resource aimed at supporting adults in organisations will also be developed to support their critical role in keeping children safe and taking action.
To inform the content and design of the resources, the Western Australian Commissioner’s office will conduct consultations with children, young people, parents, carers and organisations and individuals across Australia throughout August 2020.
