28 AprPart-scholarships on offer for community leaders
Hundreds of not-for-profit leaders will be given the chance to win a part-scholarship to complete ICDA’s (Institute of Community Directors) Diploma of Governance (BSB52318).
While ICDA has offered scholarships in the past for Australia’s premier diploma-level governance qualification, rounds this year will offer opportunities to more groups across more sectors, providing a leg-up to the most under-represented groups in the country.
The $1000 scholarships have also been fast tracked to allow students to apply immediately for any of the targeted sub-sectors, with decisions to be made on eligibility within 10 days of submission.
While applications are rolling – open throughout the year – places are also strictly limited, and subject to terms and conditions. The full cost of the Diploma is $4,495 (inc GST), comprising enrolment, student iPad, assessment and administration. Scholarship recipients will need to arrange payment of the remaining fee of $3495.
