The new Victorian Road Map
The Victorian Government announced it’s Road Map to deliver on the National Plan to open up Australia.

A part of that plan will involve assessing whether or not COVID vaccination will be become a requirement for workers in the Early Childhood Education and Care Sector. ELAA will be in close dialogue with the Victorian Government on this matter and we will have further advice for members as more information comes to hand.

An early milestone of note for our sector is that pending reaching 70% of 16+ fully vaccinated, all Victorian children will be able to attend ECEC (except OSHC) from 26 October if both parents are fully vaccinated. ELAA will advise further on this.
