20 JulVECTEA 2020 implementation support sessions
If staff in your Early Childhood Education and Care service come under the VECTEA 2020 then these two sessions are ideal for providers and managers tasked with implementing the new VECTEA 2020 in your service. Both sessions are FREE and delivered online.
The Victorian Early Childhood Teachers and Educators Agreement 2020 (VECTEA 2020) was approved by the Fair Work Commission on 12 July 2021, and came into operation on Monday, 19 July 2021.
VECTEA Implementation Session 1
July 22 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
During this session, we will discuss:
- VECTEA ratification information
- immediate actions required and using the VECTEA implementation kit
- salary increases and back pay calculations
- resources and supports available.
VECTEA Implementation Session 2
July 30 @ 10:00 am – 11:30 am
The Victorian Early Childhood Teachers and Educators Agreement 2020 (VECTEA 2020) was approved by the Fair Work Commission on 12 July, and will come into operation on Monday, 19 July 2021.
During this session, we will discuss:
- recap of early priorities and issues that ELAA have seen through our advisory support enquiries
- summary of longer-term activities
- validation process changes
- updating employee contracts
- information regarding accessing EAP programs
- both sessions will include a Q&A for participants.
Presenter:
Emma Incerti Zapedowski
Emma has a breadth of experience in employee and industrial relations, having been involved in the implementation and interpretation of enterprise agreements and awards, most recently in the aged care and community ECEC sectors.
During late 2020 and 2021, Emma managed the consolidation and approval of the Victorian Early Childhood Teachers and Educators Agreement 2020 (VECTEA) for Early Learning Association Australia (ELAA).
