06 OctVic DET resources re transition to school and second year of kindergarten
One impact of COVID-19 is that the transition experience for children going from kindergarten to primary school at the start of 2021 is going to be different from most years. The Victorian Department of Education and Training has a range of resources, fact sheets, professional learning opportunities and template communications to help support services make the 20/21 transition for children and families as smooth as possible.
Vic DET also have factsheets, guidance notes and further recommendations regarding children who may be considered for a second year of kindergarten due to disruptions to their progress during 2020.
