ELAA SPONSOR ANNOUNCEMENT

An engaging event where KU Learning and Development’s expert speakers share their knowledge and provoke us to think deeply about routines and rituals and their significance to children’s wellbeing, relationships and sense of belonging. Have you ever wondered about:

  • the difference between a routine and a ritual?
  • how the way we approach the ‘every day’ impacts the wellbeing of children?
  • what would happen if we shifted our perspective from mundane routine to meaningful ritual?

This workshop explores routines and transitions as an intrinsic part of our every day in early childhood settings and how to better understand the impact of routines and transitions on both children and educators.

Approaching the necessity of routine from a different perspective, you will explore how to turn potentially stressful parts of the day into rich and positive learning experiences, discussing the way rituals can help to create a responsive and respectful environment.

This event is suitable for all early childhood professionals.
