Posted on 16 Apr 2019

There are two big events taking place on Saturday, 18 May. One is the second day of the Early Childhood Education Conference and the other is the Federal Election. You can still attend the Conference on the Saturday and vote by choosing one of the following options:

Vote before or after the Conference on Saturday, 18 May.

Official conference proceedings for the Saturday commence at 9a.m. and finish at 5p.m. Polling booths in the Southbank area open at 8a.m. and close at 6p.m. A list of polling centres will be available on the AEC website from the last week of April www.aec.gov.au

Vote before Saturday, 18 May at an AEC Early Voting Centre.

As most Saturday delegates will be outside their electorate and / or classed as attending a work related event on that day, they will be eligible to vote early. AEC early voting centres will be open from Monday, 29 April. A list of AEC early voting centres will soon be available on the AEC website www.aec.gov.au .
