ELAA’s program of work is growing and we have a few positions we are recruiting for presently and in the near future. If you are passionate about the Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) sector, values-driven, and looking to work in an agile and highly collaborative not-for-profit – take a look at the roles below. 

The opportunities span new full and part-time roles in service delivery to support the Victorian Government’s Best Start, Best Life reforms, leading a community of practice to support the early childhood workforce, project administration and support, and direct member service delivery. 

Advisor – Best Start, Best Life Reform and Engagement 

A new project position that will play a crucial role in supporting Victorian community-based services to deliver efficient, high-quality kindergarten programs for three and four-year-old children in alignment with the Best Start, Best Life reform’s roll-out schedules. If you’re hoping to make an impact in the sector an able to support these important reforms, this role could be a great fit for you. It’s a full-time, fixed term contract position to June 2026. Administration Specialist – Member Solutions 

A new project position that will provide project administration and support for ELAA’s Best Start, Best Life project. It’s a full-time, fixed term contract position to June 2026 and will be advertised in the next couple of weeks so keep an eye out on our Jobs Board, LinkedIn and other job websites. If you have experience in project support roles or general administration with a project twist, we encourage you to apply. 

Specialist – SAEW Project Officer 

A new project position to support the delivery of an innovative project that is key to strengthening the workplace skills, capabilities and career pathways of early childhood educators. If you have worked in the sector for three+ years, and have demonstrated experience in designing training and resource material plus facilitating networks and workshops – this is the role for you. It’s a full-time, twelve month contract position and is being advertised this week so keep an eye out on our Jobs Board, LinkedIn and other job websites. 

Advisor – Member Solutions 

A permanent, part-time (0.8FTE) position commencing mid-late January 2024 within the highly collaborative, Member Solutions team at ELAA will be advertised in the next couple of weeks so keep an eye out on our Jobs Board, LinkedIn and other job websites. As part of the highly collaborative, Member Solutions team at ELAA, this advisor role will provide quality, accurate and timely services via phone and email to ELAA members and other early childhood service providers. If you are passionate about making a real difference by supporting early childhood service providers to deliver high-quality early learning, we would like to hear from you.
