26 AprResources available to encourage 2024 enrolments
The Department of Education has developed a range of communications resources for services to use in promoting their 2024 kindergarten programs and Free Kinder, including:
- Communications resources to promote your 2024 programs – this kit includes sample text for social media and newsletters, as well as key points about Free Kinder, flexible hours, and the benefits of two years of funded kindergarten that can support services in answering questions from families.
- Postcards, posters and social media tiles – services can use these materials to let families know it’s time to enrol for 2024.

There is also a new webpage, ‘Supporting CALD families to engage in kindergarten’, which has resources that services can use to communicate with culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) families about kindergarten and its benefits. This includes in-language videos and translated information available in 30 languages, which explain what early childhood education is and its benefits.
