The Skilling an Adaptable Early Childhood Education and Care Workforce (SAEW) Project is now open for sign up and our suite of E-Learning Training Modules are available from next week for Educators across Victoria.
In partnership with Gowrie Victoria and the Y Ballarat, the SAEW Project aims to strengthen the workplace skills, capabilities, and career pathways of early childhood educators. The project offers participants E-Learning Training Modules covering Teaching Pedagogy, Personal Development and Regulatory Frameworks. The E-Learning will work towards embedding best practices within the Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) workforce. Additionally, participants in the project will have exclusive access to the SAEW Community Hub, a bespoke professional networking platform, connecting educators, providing additional training resources and workshops.
The E-Learning Training Modules will include:
- Relationships with families
- Supporting children with additional needs
- Trauma informed practice
- Professional identity, ethics, and teaching philosophy
- Intentionality in learning environments
- Foundational practice:
- The arts in practice
- Routines and rituals
- Using digital technologies with children
- Running a group time.
- Educator wellbeing
- Working in a team.
- Embedding the Child Safe Standards.
All the e-learning training modules have interactive elements including quizzes and real-world case studies to reinforce learning and to assist participants in applying the learning to educational settings.
