Playing Musically in the Early Years

$20.00 Members

Many educators lack confidence in their ability to make music with children. They feel they have lost their “mojo” and are doing the “same old same old” year in and year out …

In this course, Anne Belcher will introduce “The Five Branches Framework for Music in the Early Years”, working through each of the five “branches” or key elements of an effective Music program – Beat, Singing, Instruments, Movement, and Listening. She will share ideas for effective, yet inexpensive props and instruments, and fun, easily accessible songs, dances, and listening activities that can be incorporated immediately into any early years learning and care program.

In this course, educators will learn:

  • how music can help childhood development;
  • the 5 essential ingredients for an early childhood music program;
  • some simple songs and musical activities they can incorporate straight away
