COVID-19 restrictions increased for metro Melbourne

COVIDSafe Settings – updated advice from Vic DET re regional Victoria

Following advice from the Victorian Chief Health Officer that, from 11.59pm on Monday 9 August 2021, COVID-19 restrictions for regional Victoria will move to a lower level than metropolitan Melbourne,  the Victorian Department of Education and Training (Vic DET) has issued an updated advice for Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC)  services in regional Victoria. New Closing the Gap Implementation Plan including funding for early learning

The Closing the Gap Implementation Plan has just been released. It is includes promising data that Australia is progressing well towards its goal of having 95% Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children enrolled in four-year-old preschool by 2025.
