Coronavirus (COVID-19) Webcast for Child Care Providers and Services

The Australian Department of Education, Skills and Employment is holding a webcast for child care providers and services to discuss the existing support mechanisms in place to assist the early childhood education and care sector in managing the impacts of COVID-19. Building Blocks grants program launched in Victoria

Important update to Worksafe advice on glass panes

Portability of Long Service Leave Update

From 1 January 2020 the community services sector including licensed children’s services under the Children’s Services Act 1996 or approved providers under the Education and Care Services National Law (Victoria)  come under the Portable Long Service Benefits Scheme. All approved providers and licensed children’s services are required to register for the scheme by 31 March 2020. (more…)
