Vic Gov extends trial on trial of Play Learn Grow
Play Learn Grow is a online resource that provides Victorian parents and carers with evidence-based practical advice and ideas to help their children’s learning, development and wellbeing.
The program, developed with parenting experts including the Parenting Research Centre, is free and aimed at parents of two-year-old and three-year-old children. (more…)

Transition Grant offers need to be accepted by providers by 1 July 2020
Approved providers are receiving Grant offers under the Community Child Care Fund from the Australian Government in the form of Transition Payments as the sector prepares to return to the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) and Additional Child Care Subsidy on 13 July 2020. The Early Childhood Education and Care Relief Package (Relief Package) will cease on 12 July 2020, with the CCS and Additional Child Care Subsidy (ACCS) resuming from 13 July 2020. (more…)

ELAA online forum recording re Child Care Relief changes and Vic portable long service leave now available in member area
On 9 June ELAA hosted another online forum for members. The session featured:
- Vic Deputy Sec Early Childhood, Kim Little, with an update on COVID-19 revenue relief and operational matters for early years services
- an ELAA update on the latest changes to the Federal Child Care Relief package
- a presentation and Q&A from representatives from the Vic Portable Long Service Leave Authority.

ELAA CEO update 10 June 2020

Looking to have your say in ELAA submissions?
ELAA is frequently invited to contribute to submissions on a diverse range of topics relevant to the ECEC sector. We are establishing a flexible advisory group of approximately 8-10 members including representatives from early years management organisations and stand-alone kindergartens who are interested in helping to shape submissions.
